Wood Veneer

As seen on our foam core basalt video

Note: This is an EXTREMELY fragile product that will arrive packed in a lot of foam and bound around an appropriate circle.

You should bring it into the working environment for 24 hours to let it match temperature and humidity.

Veneers are always glued to the sub-surface. We take every precaution to ensure the veneer is not split before or in transit, however even when we handle the ptem due to it’s fragility we do often have veneer splitting during cutting or laying. This problem can be rectified by joining split pieces on the veneering surface.
Some customers like to immediately glue the veneer onto a light backing surface – we do have some ultra-light & ultra low-profile 50 gsm light surface veil.

You could order that seperately, or if customers request we can add this at extra-cost and veneer in our workshops before shipping.

Email to discuss, or query us on our forums if you are in any doubt.
